Pentart Candle Glue
What is it:
Pentart Candle Glue is a water-based glue specifically made for decorating candles. It’s safe to burn because it is made to work with wax surfaces without cracking or peeling. It creates a strong bond while still being able to burn the candle.
When to use it:
Use Candle Glue when you want to apply napkins, rice paper, glitter, or mica powders to your candle.
How to use it:
- Clean the candle surface to remove any dust or wax flakes.
- Apply a thin, even coat of Candle Glue directly on the candle where you are going to put your paper as a base coat.
- Allow to dry.
- Add second coat of the Candle Glue and use it as a “decoupage medium” to glue your rice paper/napkin on.
- While the second coat is still wet, gently press your napkin or rice paper onto the candle. Use a soft brush or your fingers to smooth it out carefully.
- Once in place, apply another thin layer of Candle Glue over the top of the paper to seal it.
- Let it dry completely before handling or burning.
Pro Tips:
- Use small dots of glue for glitter or mica accents.
- Avoid decorating too close to the wick.
- Always test-burn your candle to make sure it doesn’t interfere with the flame or drip.
